CACUL actively provides and promotes professional development opportunities to its membership of almost 700 academic librarians, In addition, CACUL offers its membership the opportunity to build community through its listserv, workshops and conference programming. CACUL members can use these opportunities to discuss issues important to their academic life and to consult colleagues across Canada. CACUL is working hard to make itself relevant and vital to the life of Canadian academic librarians.
