Canadian Association of Children's Librarians (CACL)

The Canadian Association of Children's Librarians is a section of the Canadian Association of Public Libraries. It is governed by an elected Executive Council which comprises 4 individuals including: the President; Vice-President/President Elect; Past President; and Secretary.

The main focus of CACL are issues of particular interest to librarians working with and for children. CACL proudly administers the Book of the Year for Children Award and the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator's Award annually when merited.
