The Canadian Library Association/Association canadienne des bibliothèques strives to engage its members and the library community through a number of events.

National Conference and Tradeshow
Every year CLA/ACB produces the National Conference and Tradeshow in late May or early June to promote ongoing professional development with strong educational programming and outstanding networking opportunities. During the National Conference and Tradeshow, Division and Interest Group meetings are held as well as the Annual General Meeting. Canadian Library Month
October is Canadian Library Month annually and it has become a highly anticipated and celebrated event for libraries across Canada.
