Feliciter is the only national magazine dedicated to serving the Canadian library and information services community. Each issue of Feliciter contains opinion pieces, columns, and feature articles on professional concerns and developments, along with news of the Canadian Library Association/Association canadienne des bibliothèques.

Feliciter is published six times a year by the Canadian Library Association/Association canadienne des bibliothèques and is available as an "online only" publication.

We are often asked about the origin of the name Feliciter.  The following explanation appeared in Volume 1, Issue 1:

“In North Africa, far down in the old Roman province of Numidia, the ruins of the town of Timgad have been excavated.  One of the buildings was the library and the wall of this had carried an inscription.  Only one word was left, but that was enough.  It was ‘Feliciter’, which may be translated ‘Luck to You’, or simply ‘Welcome’.”
