CACUL Mid-Career Conference Grant
CACUL is pleased to announce that two grants of up to $500 will be
awarded to attend this year's annual CLA Conference. The grant is
intended for a librarian who has been a practicing librarian in Canada
for more than 10 years.
Purpose of these grants:

To encourage involvement of mid-career academic librarians in the
annual CLA conference.

To promote CACUL membership.

To provide financial assistance to attend the CLA Annual
Conference.
Eligibility Guidelines Governing Award:

Librarians who have received an MLIS/MLS at least 10 years
ago

Librarians must be practicing academic librarians in Canada.

Applicants must be personal members of CACUL.

Preference will be given to applicants who have not attended a CLA
conference.

Applicants who have received funding to attend the conference from
another CLA source will not be eligible for this grant.

Recipients must be able to attend the CACUL AGM

Recipients may only receive this grant once.
If more than 2 applications are received, the award will be made on the
basis of a draw and must be received by March 31 of the conference
year.
The grant will be presented at the CACUL AGM at the CLA conference.
Recipients must submit a report to the CACUL Executive summarizing their
conference experience for inclusion on the CACUL site and other relevant
media.
