2005 Robert H. Blackburn Distinguished Paper Award Winner Announced
The members of the CACUL Research Board are pleased to announce the
winner of the inaugural Robert H. Blackburn Distinguished Paper Award
for 2005:
Denise Koufogiannakis, Linda Slater and Ellen Crumley. (2004). A
Content Analysis of Librarianship Research. Journal of Information
Science, 30(3) 227-239.
Through their content analysis of library and information studies
literature published in 2001, the authors offer insight into the most
common topics and issues selected by librarians as foci for research as
well as identifying growing areas of interest. Top journals for
published research in library and information studies are also
identified.
The CACUL Robert H. Blackburn Distinguished Paper Award seeks to
acknowledge notable research published by CACUL members through the
presentation of an annual award of $200. The annual submission deadline
