John Teskey, Director of Libraries, University of New Brunswick to Serve
as Vice-President/President Elect of the Canadian Library Association/

(Ottawa, May 29, 2008) John Teskey, Director of Libraries, University
of New Brunswick, began his one-year term as Vice-President/President
Elect of the Canadian Library Association/ Association canadienne des
bibliothèques at the 2008 CLA/ACB National Conference in Vancouver,
British Columbia on May 24. He will assume the presidency in June 2009
at the end of the CLA/ACB Conference in Montreal.
John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role as
Vice-President/President Elect of the CLA/ACB. In addition to his
current position as Director of Libraries, at the University of New
Brunswick, John serves on the OCLC Canadian Advisory Board. John Teskey

In 2005, John contributed a chapter to Last One Out Turn Off the
Lights: Is the Future of American and Canadian Libraries published
by Scarecrow Press.
