Re:Generations Resume Review Service
Not sure how to make the most of the experience you have to date?
Wondering about resume formatting for academic positions? Want to
highlight transferable skills that will help you to move from another
type of library into a university or college library position? We are
here to help you succeed in an academic library career!
The CACUL Re:Generations committee is pleased to offer a free,
volunteer service to new librarians. Send your resume to the CACUL
Re:Generations committee via e-mail (in care of Christina Hwang
at regencacul@gmail.com)
and it will be reviewed in confidence by an experienced academic
librarian. Comments will be sent to you within two weeks of
submission.
Open to all new librarians who are CACUL members,
your resume will be critiqued by a librarian working in an academic
library, and any resulting comments or suggestions will be sent to you
by e-mail. You can follow-up on these comments by telephone or
e-mail.
This service is brought to you by the Canadian Association of College
and University Libraries, a division of the Canadian Library
Association. Check out the Re:Generations blog for additional
information of interest to new librarians.
