Continuing Professional Development
CASLIS delivers over 25 lectures, seminars, workshops and other continuing education activities each year on topics of interest and need in our profession

Publications
Through occasional papers, newsletters, other publications, CASLIS provides members with news, views, opinions, and happenings in our world of information management, librarians and libraries.

Discussion List
CASLIS’ distribution list provides a forum for members to exchange ideas and learn from each other’s experience.

Award for Special Librarianship in Canada
Each year CASLIS recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to special librarianship in Canada through professional and/or Divisional activities

CASLIS Mentoring Program
The CASLIS Mentoring program is a formal process whereby the mentoring committee pairs a mentor or trusted advisor with a new librarian or library technician with the goal of providing professional development, growth, and support to this individual.
