Sharon Wood ~ Everest - Insights from Higher Ground

Saturday, June 18 ~ 12:15 - 1:15 pm

Sharon Wood
Sharon Wood

Sharon Wood teaches, entertains and inspires with her personal story about reaching the top of Mount Everest in good style. Good style in the world of elite high altitude climbing is all about doing more with less. Her small team shared a bold vision to climb the highest mountain in the world, by a new and more difficult route, with minimal resources and maximum efficiency. It is a story about ordinary people achieving extraordinary results.

Sharon evokes listeners to be curious about their own stories, resources, potential and opportunities that contribute to and define success. Her premise is curiosity lends a boldness to step beyond our preconceived limitations and, through innovation and creativity, to realize new possibilities. She emphasizes the power of personal passion combined with perspective and willingness to thrive in environments of constant change and adversity to "stay the course".

"Everest - Insights from Higher Ground" is more than just an adventure story is a timeless, universal story about human struggle and conquest against all odds. For anyone wanting to be more effective in his or her work or life, Sharon's story is a powerful inspiration.
