The annual conference is specially designed with everyone in mind. Select one of the flexible, affordable registration packages which include, a full conference rate, a bonus for institutional members, student rate, daily rate and for those who are not CLA members, a non-member rate.

In the finest CLA tradition, we will be offering a special discount for early registration again this year. Registration forms will be mailed out early in February and the registration form and full information will also be available in this space so keep watching and plan to send your registration in early, for the greatest savings.

Member rates are extended to CLA, CARL, ASTED, SPECIAL LIBRARIES ASSOCIATION, and members of all Alberta library associations (LAA, ALTA, AALT, etc.).

GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Complete the conference registration form (and a membership application form if applicable) and forward, by mail or fax, along with your payment (credit card or cheque) to the CLA office. Full payment must accompany your registration. Cheques should be made payable to the Canadian Library Association.

REFUND POLICY
Cancellations received in writing by May 1, 2005 will be refunded less a $45 administration fee. Social events are not refundable. Refunds for registration fees will not be issued after May 1, 2005.

MESSAGE TO NON-MEMBERS
Not a CLA Personal Member? Conference time is the time to join CLA and save! You receive full member privileges immediately which means you can register for the conference at the member rate (a savings of $200 on full conference registration); receive a subscription to Feliciter, receive member discounts on programs and publications, select membership in the CLA division of your choice, and access numerous opportunities for networking with library and information colleagues across the country. Join now and take advantage of priority registration privileges at the 2005 CLA conference.

Not a CLA Institutional Member? Join now and have the flexibility to choose the membership level that best meets your needs, and have access to group discount rates as well as conference registration rates.

DAILY REGISTRATION FEE
CLA is eager to meet the needs of those who can't attend the entire conference. Pick the day(s) most convenient for you and attend workshops, division meetings, Trade Show, etc.

BONUS FOR CLA INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS
If your organization has an Institutional Membership you may send a limited number of individuals using the CLA member rate.

Basic Institutional Membership = 2 individuals
Enhanced Institutional Membership = 3 individuals
Premium Institutional Membership = 5 individuals

To take advantage of this rate, all registrations must be received as a single package. Discounts will not be applied after the conference.

Special Institutional Group Rate:
If your organization is sending a large group, you can take advantage of special group rates.

10 - 20 individuals: $410.00 per person
Sending 21 plus individuals: $360.00 per person

Group registrations must be received as one complete package along with full payment on one cheque or credit card. Group registration deadline is May 14, 2004 - no on-site registration.

PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINES

For the greatest savings, pre-register by April 16, 2004

Pre-register from April 17 to May 14, 2004

Delegates wishing to be pre-registered for the conference must have their registration form and appropriate payment delivered to the CLA office by midnight on May 14, 2004. After May 14, registration will be on-site only

ON-SITE REGISTRATION

After May 13, 2005 registrations will be processed at the Telus Convention Centre, June 15-18, 2005. Delegates registering on-site should bring their completed registration form and full payment to the conference registration desk. Please do not send registrations to the CLA Office after May 13, 2005. They will not be processed and will be subject to the additional fees.

On-site registrants are subject to on-site registration fees. Please see registration form for prices. Full payment is required in order to process registrations.

RECEIPTS
Confirmation of conference registration and payment will be mailed to all pre-registered delegates (registrations received by May 13).

SESSION SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME BASIS
Session seating is on a 'first come' basis. Meeting rooms will be set for the maximum number and participation restricted due to fire regulations and the safety of all delegates.
