As the successful recipient of the first OCULA New Librarian Residency Award, Brock University Library has an exciting opportunity for a recent library school graduate (graduated between August 2008-August 2009) to fill a 12-month limited term position in Liaison Services. Reporting to the Head, Liaison Services, the successful applicant will be a motivated, innovative, and service-oriented librarian who is eager to gain experience by engaging in a variety of important projects. These include: the application of educational technologies to library instruction; marketing and communication activities to promote library services and resources; and collection development in one or more disciplines. The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing mentoring from the Head, Liaison Services and other colleagues, and will play a role in the shared decision-making of Liaison Services.
