Canada's libraries are connected - 98 % of all public libraries in Canada are linked to the Internet, and over 90% now provide public access to this rich information resource to their patrons.

In keeping with the Canadian Library Association's proud tradition of professional education and support to libraries on matters of intellectual freedom and access to information, this toolkit is designed to provide assistance to libraries as they develop policies, train staff and carry out public education programs on safe and smart use of the 'Net.

The toolkit is available in pdf format, for which you will require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 4.0 or higher), both of which can be obtained from the main menu above.
